When a shingle blows off in a storm or a slow leak finally shows up on your ceiling, you need a crew that answers the phone and shows up — not a call center that puts you on hold. Big Toms Roofing sends licensed, local Seminole roofers to your door, usually the same day you call.
We built Big Toms Roofing to fix a problem every homeowner in Seminole has run into: contractors who don't return calls, no-show for appointments, or pad the invoice once the tarp's already on the roof. Our Metal Roofing crews are local, licensed, and accountable — every estimate is in writing before a single shingle gets pulled.
From a single missing shingle to a full tear-off, our Seminole crews handle every stage of roofing work with the same attention to detail — licensed, permitted, and cleaned up when we leave.
A leak that starts as a small stain can rot decking and framing within weeks. Our emergency response teams treat every active-leak call in Seminole as urgent — temporary stabilization first, permanent fix scheduled right behind it.
When patching stops making financial sense, a full tear-off and reroof resets the clock on your home. We strip old material down to the deck, replace any rotten sheathing, install proper underlayment and ice-and-water protection, and finish with a manufacturer-certified shingle or metal system backed by a real warranty.
Downtime costs money, so commercial Metal Roofing jobs get scheduled around your operating hours whenever possible, with clear communication to property managers and tenants throughout the project.
A lot of roof failures are preventable with a twice-a-year inspection catching lifted flashing or worn pipe boots before they turn into interior water damage. Our Seminole inspection service checks the field, flashing, penetrations, gutters, and attic ventilation, then hands you a written report with photos.
A roof is only as good as the parts that direct water off it. We repair and replace step flashing, valley flashing, chimney flashing, and gutters that have pulled away from the fascia — small jobs that prevent big leaks down the road.
Every one of these commitments exists because a Seminole homeowner asked for it, complained about a competitor's lack of it, or we learned it the hard way.
Every estimate is itemized and handed to you before we touch the roof — no verbal quotes that change once the ladder comes down.
Because our trucks stay staged around Seminole, we're rarely more than an hour from your address for emergency calls.
Certification isn't a marketing badge here — it's required training that affects how your warranty is honored.
If something about the finished work doesn't sit right with you, call us back and we'll make it right — that's the deal.
Our team has sat through enough adjuster meetings in Seminole, FL to know what documentation actually moves a claim forward.
Magnetic nail sweeps and tarp-protected landscaping are standard on every job, not an upsell.

"Called around 9pm after a branch came through part of our roof and Big Toms Roofing actually picked up. They had someone out that night to stop the water and scheduled the repair for that week. That kind of response is rare."
"The estimate they gave us matched the final invoice exactly, which after two other quotes from companies that kept adding line items, was a relief. Crew was professional and cleaned up better than I expected."
"After the hail storm last year, Big Toms Roofing documented everything for our claim and dealt directly with our adjuster. We barely had to do anything except sign off on the estimate."

"Their inspection before we bought our house flagged ventilation and flashing problems that weren't obvious on a walkthrough. Glad we called them before closing, not after."
